Named in homage to our roots, Yanbian BBQ reflects the culinary influence that has shaped our lives. For generations, our family has celebrated food, a passion that manifested in the early 1990s with the opening of our first BBQ restaurant in Qinhuangdao, China. From its humble beginnings, our cozy establishment quickly became a local favorite, renowned for its delectable dishes and warm hospitality. Over three decades, our presence grew, expanding across cities in China. However, as Alex moved to Canada, he carried with him the dream shared with his mother: to introduce the rich flavors of northeastern Yanbian cuisine to a new audience.
